Projects
The Pickle Factory
A place in Bristol for communities to collaborate and be creative. We rent the space at low cost to the community and use the funds to create opportunities for young people. We do creative engagement with young people here. Everything from recording music to litter picking and mural painting.
Creative & Skill Building Workshops
We deliver workshops in schools, youth centers, and nature areas to teach creative skills and environmental action. This is everything from woodwork to cooking to practical ecology work. We also support starting your own project. Friday evenings our centre turns into a joyous youth club for 11-19 year olds.
Friday Youth Club
Every Friday at the Pickle Factory from 6-8pm. Music production, making food, playing sports and games, arts and crafts, make new friends! This is a drop-in session so any young person aged 11-17 can turn up and get involved.
Consultancy Work
We assist your organisation in enhancing interactions with young people, marginalized groups, and the environment. We emphasize practical steps, active involvement, and collaboration. Our clients include local community groups, major charities, and government bodies.
Summer Residentials & Camps
We deliver summer trips for young people who may not have outdoor opportunities. Our adventures are exciting, educational, and unforgettable. Organizations serving youth can also benefit. Contact us to give young people a chance to explore the outdoors.
FairBnB
We help low-income families take trips to beautiful locations with donations of holiday homes. If you own a rental you can give for a few days or want to donate money to support these trips, get in touch!
In addition to the above projects, we advise landowners and activity centres on how to engage meaningfully with communities that are currently excluded from the outdoors and environmental work.
Our projects aim to achieve:
Genuine engagement with environmental issues, inspiring young people to become activists, change-makers.
Sense of self-esteem necessary for more proactive outlook on one’s life prospects.
Academic, creative and life skills attainment.
Mental and physical health.
Confidence building through gaining practical and nature-based skills.
Resilience.
